💡
NOTE: The connector for Wiley content is ONLY available for Perplexity Enterprise Pro users at this time.
Once the connector has been enabled for your organization, all users in your org can access it.

How to Use the Wiley Connector
Wiley content must be enabled in order for Perplexity to search / include it in search results.
- First select the “Sources” button

- From there, disable “Web” sources. You don’t have to do this, but if you leave Web sources enabled, then Perplexity will choose which sources to include, and it may not always decide to include Wiley content.
From there, click “More connectors”, and it will open up a menu.

- Enable the “Wiley” connector. You’ll know it’s enabled because the selector will show a different color. In my dark scheme, it shows up at Perplexity blue.

- You’ll know Wiley is selected because you’ll see the Wiley logo in the Source button

- Congratulations! Now your Perplexity searches will exclusively pull from Wiley’s content.
FAQ
How can I confirm Wiley is connected to my Perplexity account?
There are two ways to confirm you’ve connected Wiley to your account in Perplexity.
First way: Check the Search Sources (easiest)
If the Wiley Connector is enabled, “Wiley” will show up as a source in the “More Connectors” section of the “Sources” in your search settings

Second way: Check the Connector Settings (only available for Org Admins)
- Go to “Account” in your user settings

- Go to “Org Connectors” in your account

- If the Wiley connector has been enabled, it should say “Connected” next to the logo.

How do I know I’m getting Wiley sources in my search results?
- The easiest way to tell if you’re getting Wiley sources is by looking at the sources tab in your conversation

- Once you’re looking at the sources, you can tell if it’s Wiley content by looking for (a) the Wiley logo (2) the book title as the source of (3) the URL for the source will show “Wiley connector” in it

- You can also click on the link and it will take you to a link of the content (the link will expire).

I’ve confirmed Wiley is connected, but I can’t seem to access any content—what’s going on?
With the current Perplexity integration, it can take up to 8 hours for content to synchronize. If it has been longer than 8 hours and you still can’t access any Wiley content in Perplexity, please contact us at [email protected].
How can I see which book titles I have access to through Cashmere?
If at any time you want to see more information about the content you have access to, you can always see the details on Cashmere’s website.
- Log into the Cashmere account you created when connecting Wiley to Perplexity (link here)

- Navigate to the “Collections” tab

- The “Collections” page will show you all of the collections of content you have access to in Perplexity

- Clicking on a collection will show you more information about the collection itself. If you click on “View All” next to Omnipubs, it will show a list of all the titles in the collection

- The Omnipubs list will display all of the titles accessible within Perplexity
